Tea Time! Tea Length Wedding Dresses

tea length wedding dress

Tea Time! Tea Length Wedding Dresses are making a comeback. There is something darling about these tea length bridal gowns. Inspired by 50's fashion these are the perfect fit for brides who are looking to combine flair with old school charm.

The good thing about tea length wedding dresses is that they flatter pretty much any figure, and let's face it they are adorable. Tea length dresses make ideal destination wedding dresses, since they are easier to move from place to place. And while in the past, considered informal wedding dresses, today that couldn't be farther from the truth.

London designer Candy Anthony's recent bridal collection is further proof that tea length wedding dresses aren't going anywhere anytime soon. Rock n Roll Bride points out a series of places brides can find a vintage tea length wedding dress

I do love tea length dresses. They are the epitomy of girly. In fact my 80's prom dress was one, but that was pretty much the only good thing about my 80's prom dress. Oh shucks darn, looks like I don't have a picture of that. ;)

So what do you think? Is it tea time?

I just love this idea! I would have to say, as a girl with calves the size of an olympic wrestler, this would not be a good fit for me. But for those of us more genetically blessed than I, it is simply stunning.... elegant and downright darling. What a wonderful idea, thank you for sharing!

Rhiana,

You always make me smile and for that I thank you. Glad you like the post and you are beautiful no matter what you wear.

My dress was tea length! It was actually a silk dress my grandmother made and wore to my parents' wedding. I had it reworked (sleeves removed, shortened a little, lace over skirt added). It was adorable and I still just love it. It was the perfect addition to my vintage-inspired wedding.

@Ellen I love that! It sounds beautiful! I love that it was, one vintage and two, tea length. My dream is to have a vintage inspired wedding. If you send me a picture I'll blog about.

Have seen a definite pick up in demand for Tea Length Wedding Dresses.

I am not engaged or anythign... but I LOVE tea lenghted dresses... I am quite sure I will wear one, some day when I get married... I think I have pretty killer legs and plan to wear an awesome pair of shoes (likely not white!) with my sweet little dress...

I love that they don't drag on the ground, so there's no chance of being stepped on and ripping the dress, or getting grass stains outside...

perfection!
