Designer Bridesmaid Dresses- Go Long!

Designer Bridesmaid dresses- Go long. Another trend for this summer are long summer bridesmaid dresses. Here are some designers I'm sure you'll recognize with a few of the long bridesmaid dresses designers have to offer.

So why go long? Other than creating a soft and romantic and elegant look a long bridesmaid dress flatters almost every figure. So if you are a bride who wants all her girls to dress the same, consider long and check out some of these designer bridesmaid dresses

Waters Bridesmaid Dresses

Waters Bridesmaid dresses prices start at $210. The longer styles pictured above are closer to the $400 mark. These jewel toned satins embody sophistication and are long formal bridesmaid dresses. I adore the dress on the right and the flower detail.

Wtoo Bridesmaid Dresses

Similar to the Waters Bridesmaid collection are Wtoo bridesmaid dresses. The price point of these is lower starting at $170 with the longer dresses runing close to the $250 mark. Wtoo bridesmaid dresses come in 14 color options and are a great choice for a Bride who wants glamor and elegance without the price tag. The top on the dress on the right is pretty amazing.

Monique Lhuillier Bridesmaid DressesLocal Seattle designer Monique Lhuillier is known for her stunning bridal collections. Well Monique Lhuillier bridesmaid dresses leave nothing to be desired. Soft and flowy and utterly refined. I know Nordstrom carries them and you can get a Monique Lhuillier bridesmaid dress for under $200. The color selection is a little limited.

Alfred Angelo Bridesmaid Dresses

Alfred Angelo bridesmaid dresses have classic lines and appeal to the bride who is a little more on the traditional. This collection also contains long formal bridesmaid dresses and long silk bridesmaid dresses that are available in 55 colors, so there is plenty of choice. The tea length bridesmaid dress is also pretty fun.  You'll probably need to go to a bridal store to purchase one of these.

Nicole Miller Bridesmaid Dresses
Nicole Miller Bridesmaid dresses are wow. But with a wow pricetag. Above I included some of the more affordable options dancing around the $450 mark. They are pretty stunning. Most dresses only come in one color.

Vera Wang Bridesmaid DressesAnd what would a post about bridesmaid dress designers be without including Vera Wang. Apparently Vera Wang Bridesmaid dresses will now only be available at David's Bridal under the Vera Wang White collection. Vera Wang Bridesmaid dresses should be in store this June. I can't wait to see more.

All Hail Pale Bridesmaid Dresses!!

All Hail Pale Bridesmaid Dresses!! An undeniable trend for 2011 are pale bridesmaid dresses. These light bridesmaid dresses are often the same or a few shades different from the bride. Bridesmaids Dresses everywhere are turning up in colors that were a short while ago only considered for brides. Bridesmaid dresses in neutral colors, ivory, and even white add a softer more subtle distinction between the bride and her girls, a distiction less prononced but not less beautiful.

These light bridesmaid dresses are all the rage and not just for bridesmaids, light prom dresses, and neutral colors clothing are very trendy right now.  Pale bridesmaid dresses also work well to offset brides who choose light wedding dresses with a hint of color.

Love this trend. I find it so romantic and sweet.  You?

Say it with Wedding Signs!

wedding-signsSay it with Wedding Signs! The Wedding sign has come a long way. Wedding signage once thougth of only to direct guests now has a life of its own. True, wedding signs, and wedding signs with arrows, or wedding receptions signs can be useful. You do need to make sure your guests know where to go. But outside of being 'functional' wedding signs should also be fun.

Today wedding signs are often used as wedding picture props, for table numbers, even as guest books. If you'd like to check out more fun wedding signs check out this post on DIY wedding signs, including wooden wedding signs. I absolutely love DIY wedding signage!

This adorable picture has each ringbearer holding a sign with the words from here comes the bride. And there are six of them! It is buckets of cute. I wonder if they played the music in the background too? Bravo for being different.
