Something Blue was originally a British tradition said to date back to the Victorian age where women actually married in Blue. Blue was the color for love, fidelity, and honesty. I heart you heart garland. What a pretty alternative the wedding ampersand.  These pretty little hearts are so cute for any occasion but especially for your wedding as a wedding picture prop.

This photo in general is darling. Love the vintage couch and the bride's lace wedding dress, not to mention her bow hair accessory and birdcage veil.

First Dance Songs for C & J

First dance songs for C & J. 

Neither Jason nor I are very good dancers and neither of us really has the time or the desire to take dancing lessons. Let's be honest they wouldn't end well. I can barely keep time with easy aerobics. So having said that- we are going to do a regular slow dance and try not to step on each others feet. Here are our contenders. Now this is where we want you to pipe in. True a first dance should be special to the couple. So thing is these are all special to us. Now help us pick. 

1. We love Jack Johnson. Particularly his song Angel. It is a little short but I won't tell if you don't. If any one knows of a longer version that works too. 

2. Jason is the strong silent type. The song is  Between the Minds by Jack savoretti. It just fits us. The song not the video. 

3. Book of Love by Peter Gabriel. I really do love it when he reads to me. And he does every night. 

4. Ray Lamontagne and Damien Rice are probably our two favorite artists and they have a beautiful cover of To Love Somebody. 

5. Adele's 'Make You Feel My Love' This sentiment is so beautiful "I could hold you for a million years."

6. I love how you love me the Neutral Mik Hotel version its kinda quirky like us. 

7. More Ray LaMontagne You are the Best Thing or Hold You In My Arms.  Ray is just so good. 

8.  The Luckiest by Ben Folds. Pretty and telling. 

9. Norah is another favorite and so is her The Nearness of You

10. One Fine Day by Natalie Merchant. Jason introduced me to Natalie Merchant. 

11. Van Morisson Someone Like You. This one is pretty popular but for good reason. 

12. Green Eyes by Coldplay. I just might have green eyes.
